Leading psychic, Alex Beattie is coming back to Brigitte Bordeaux on Saturday 26th October for our ever popular ‘Wine and Tarot’ event. A half hour tarot reading and glass of wine is priced at £30. Bookings are being taken throughout the day, from 12.30pm until 10pm. Give us a ring to book your slot.

4TH - 10TH NOVEMBER. INTERNATIONAL SHERRY WEEK

Not an event, as such but we’ll be celebrating International Sherry Week all week with plenty of sherry open to taste in the shop and drink by the glass in the bar with some perfect food pairings. Come down and join us for it!

WEDNESDAY 13TH NOVEMBER. 7.30PM. M.CHAPOUTIER TASTING: RHONE, ROUSSILLON AND BEYOND

In September, I was very lucky to be invited to France to visit the vineyards and taste the wines of iconic producer, M.Chapoutier in the Rhône Valley and in Roussillon.

It was fascinating to see and to taste how the terroirs of each of the different appellations we visited are reflected in their wines.

Following my trip to France, I'm very excited to bring the wines of this iconic French producer back to Sherwood to share with you.

This tasting will cover some of the famous appellations of the Rhône Valley as well as some of the producer's lesser known wines, certainly from Roussillon and possibly from even further afield (did you know that M.Chapoutier also makes wine in Australia?)

THURSDAY 21ST NOVEMBER. BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU DAY

We’re yet to finalise plans for this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau Day, but we’ll definietly be pouring two great Beaujolais Nouveaux by the glass with some French nibbles to accompany them, so put it in your diary!

TUESDAY 26TH NOVEMBER. 7.30PM. BRIGITTE’S BEST OF 2024

We don't need much of an excuse to re-taste our favourite wines of the year, so if you'd like to join us, we're happy to crack open the bottles.

As well as our favourites and wines that have meant something significant to us in 2024, we'll also be revisiting some of our guests' favourites from this year's tastings.

Yes, we're not messing about this year, we're putting three 'Festive Fizz' tastings on the calendar from the off!

Having said that, we're selling fewer tickets than usual for each tasting so don't hang around if you want to secure your place.

Our 'Festive Fizz' tastings are always full of fun, fizz and festive cheer. If that sounds good to you, book your ticket today!

SUNDAY 8TH DECEMBER. 1PM-5PM. BRIGITTE’S CHRISTMAS FAIR

This is always a great day where we open lots of wines for you to taste and invite local makers and craftspeople to come and sell their wares.

Tickets are £20pp for a two-hour time slot. Please let us know if you'd like to join us between 1pm and 3pm or 3pm and 5pm. Your £20 ticket not only gets you plenty of wine to taste, it also gives you 10% off the purchase of any of your favourites on the day.

It's an afternoon full of festive cheer and also the perfect opportunity to stock up with delicious wines for Christmas.
