As the label shares, this red comes from the Dão's envied granitic soils, blending grapes intrinsic to the region: alfrocheiro, tinta roriz, touriga naçional, and jaen. The vines grow on the slopes of Silgueiros, surrounded by oak and pine woods. Fresh and brisk, the dusky florals, forest berries, herbal scrub, wild cherry, plum is textured by grippy, elegant, long tannins that frame a sweet red fruit core.
