Tasting Notes:
A distinctive organic white made from Viognier and the rare, indigenous Verdil grape, grown at altitude in the Valencia region to produce a smoky, minerally wine, fresh and fruity with green apple, lemon and lime flavours. The soil in this vineyard is white limestone, its stark whiteness on the surface giving its name to the region, Vall d’Albaida. This limestone layer absorbs moisture like a sponge, with the upper layers forming a natural barrier when they dry, restricting evaporation and retaining moisture at the vine roots.
